Free Peptide Label Maker

This free peptide label maker turns a blank peptide label template into a clean, print-ready vial label in a minute. Pick your vial size, type the product, amount and lot, and download it as an exact-size SVG or print a full sheet. It has the fields a research vial label needs and none of the wording that gets stores flagged.

Type on the left and the label updates as you go. Download it at exact size, or print a full sheet.

Only use a research statement if it's true for how you sell. We don't offer "Not for human consumption": LegitScript's guide for payment processors lists it as a red flag.

Print at 100% scale (turn off "fit to page"). Test a few on your actual vials first: two suppliers' "2 mL" vials can differ by a millimetre, which changes the wrap by about 3 mm.

To size any vial yourself, measure its diameter, multiply by 3.14 for the wrap, take off 3 to 5 mm so the ends don't overlap, and keep the height a millimetre or two inside the straight part of the wall. Our peptide vial label guide goes into stock, adhesives and freezer testing.

What goes on it

What this template puts on, and what it leaves off

On the label

  • Product name and amount
  • Lot number, the most useful thing on a vial
  • Storage line
  • An accurate research statement, if it's true
  • Your brand and a short URL to the batch COA

Left off on purpose

  • Dosing, reconstitution or "how to use" text
  • Benefit, result or body-part language
  • "Not for human consumption", a listed red flag
  • Gym, tanning or before/after imagery

FDA judges a product's intended use from its "labeling claims, advertising matter, or oral or written statements" and the circumstances of sale (21 CFR 201.128), so the label has to match how the rest of your store sells. This tool isn't legal advice; check your wording with a lawyer who knows FDA rules before a big print run.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What size label fits a 3 mL peptide vial?

A common choice is 1.5 × 0.75 in (about 38 × 19 mm), and OnlineLabels suggests 1.75 × 0.75 in (about 44 × 19 mm) for 3 to 5 mL vials. Vial diameters vary by supplier, so test a few blank labels on your actual vials before ordering a full run.

What size label fits a 10 mL vial?

A 10 mL crimp vial listed at 22.75 mm wide is about 71 mm around. Our template uses 66 × 30 mm to leave a small gap at the ends, but that's our estimate, so measure your own vial first.

What should a research peptide label say?

Product name, amount, lot number, storage, and a research-use statement only if it's true. A brand name and a short URL to the batch COA make a loose vial traceable. Leave off anything about dosing, use or results.

Should I print "Not for human consumption" on the label?

We'd leave it off. LegitScript's peptides guide for payment processors lists that disclaimer as a red flag, and FDA has found products intended for human use despite similar wording when the rest of the store said otherwise.

What label material should I print on?

BOPP film is moisture-resistant and suits refrigerated vials that collect condensation. For frozen storage, look at cryogenic labels, and always ask the printer for the adhesive's service temperature range.
