Fees are per root domain, from LegitScript's Healthcare Certification page (checked October 2026). Expedited processing only makes the review start within about 2 business days. It doesn't make the compliance review itself shorter, and LegitScript says it can't estimate how long certification takes. Certification lasts one year.

Questions people ask
Can a research peptide supplier get LegitScript certified?
No. LegitScript's certification programs cover pharmacies, telehealth, clinics, med spas, digital health platforms, manufacturers and wholesalers, plus separate CBD and addiction-treatment programs. None of them covers research-use-only sellers, and LegitScript's own peptide reports name research-use-only language as a warning sign. A research supplier is better served by an honest compliance review of its store, labels and policies.
Do I need LegitScript to take card payments?
Not by a published card-network rule for peptides. Some processors make it their own requirement, though. Corepay says it hasn't worked with uncertified peptide platforms since April 1, 2024, and Easy Pay Direct says peptide merchant accounts need certification. Other processors don't ask for it, so it depends on who underwrites you.
How long does LegitScript certification take?
LegitScript doesn't give an estimate. Applications are screened within about 2 business days, and the full review depends on how many fixes your site, licenses and policies need. Most of the time goes into those fixes, which is why it pays to check eligibility before you apply.
Is the application fee refundable if I'm turned down?
No. The $975 application fee is nonrefundable, so it's worth checking eligibility before you apply.
